Q: Will I get the bike in good condition?
A: We have 0% quality tolerance. You have complete right to check and test drive your bike. Once you are not satisfied with the quality aspect, just tell us and we shall refund you in full, that's a promise.


Q: Which documents I need to provide you?
A: Generally, any ID proof such as Aadhaar card, Pan Card, Voter id or Passport plus a valid driving license authorizing the type of bike rented in India shall be required. We don't accept colour copies of documents in place of the original. Additional requirements if any, are given oas options in KYC page.


Q: How can I extend my trip?
A: In order to avoid late return charges, we advise booking the same bike again for the additional duration.


Q: Will I get the best rates for the bike?
A: Yes, always. Shride compares the price available from multiple dealers and offers you the bike which is priced lowest.


Q: I am shortening my trip. How shall I get the refund?
A: There are no refunds on shortening the trip.


Q: How do I pay?
A: You can pay online using debit/credit card or Shride wallet. You can also pay with cash while receiving the vehicle.


Q: Where can I pick up the bike from?
A: While booking your bike, you’ll be given an option to select a pick-up location in your vicinity.


Q: What documents do I need to show while booking?
A: You need to show your original valid driving license or aadhar card(if your vehicle does not require license).


Q: Will I be getting a complimentary helmet?
A: Shride provides one helmet with each booking. Second helmet is provided, if needed and is subject to availability.


Q: How do I book?
A: You can either book online or via our app (available both on Android and iOS). Select the time and date for which you want the bike for, pick a bike/scooty and proceed to payment.


Q: Can I reschedule the booking?
A: Rescheduling/modification of the booking is not allowed once booking is accepted.


Q: Can I cancel the booking?
A: Yes, cancellation charges of ₹ 39 will be charged.


Q: I cancelled my booking. In how many days will I get my refund back?
A: If you paid via debit/credit card or e-wallet, you should receive the refund within 3 to 11 working days. However, in case you don’t receive the refund within the above mentioned period, let us know so we can verify and process the refund within 24 Hrs of your query.


Q: The bike broke down. What should I do?
A: Call us from the support section of our app. We are available 24X7 and 365 days at your service.


Q: What if I return the bike late because the bike broke down? Will I be fined?
A: Call us and let us know what happened. If the reason is deemed genuine and we verify it from our GPS feedback, you will not be charged any penalties.


Q: What happens if the bike has been damaged?
A: The repair estimate will be provided by our servicing manager. If the estimate is below INR 10,000, the customer has to bear the entire amount while returning the vehicle. However, in case the estimated amount surpasses INR 10,000, limit insurance will be claimed against the vehicle. The customer is liable to pay the estimated amount upfront. Once the insurance amount is received by the company, Shride will add daily rentals to its downtime and refund back the differential amount. Please read our insurance policy for more information.


Q: What are your pickup point timings?
A: All our pickup points are operational from Wednesday to Monday 24X7.


Q: Your delivery executive is not present at the hub station. How long do I wait?
A: Call our customer care from the support section of our app and give us your booking ID. We’ll sort it out on the go!


Q: If the bike gets damaged due to floods, do I still have to pay for it?
A: At times of heavy rain and floods, customer is advised to park the bike at a safe location. All damages incurred, irrespective of the cause, have to be covered by the customer.
